About us

Since 2009, Compassion N Care has grown to a full-service Agency providing caregiving, behavior support, developmental support, and community support services to individuals and families in their homes and/or in assisted living facilities to help them live an enriched lives amidst their disabilities, aging, and other limitations that affect their ability to maintain their basic functional skills.

Our services include, but are not limited to, personal care attendants (PCAs), homemaking, companions, individual home support (IHS), respite care, Alzheimer's and dementia assistance, recovery assistance, geriatric care management, and community support services.

As a CARF Accredited Agency, we pride ourselves in the continuous improvement of our services to deliver the highest level of care support and efficiency to our consumers, stakeholders, and the public-at-large, with the goal of meeting consumer satisfaction at all times.

We service the New Haven, Middlesex, Hartford, and part of Fairfield counties in the state of Connecticut.

The mission of Compassion N Care is to provide comprehensive home and community based care solutions to care for, and promote independence and wellbeing among the individuals we serve.

Compassion is committed to providing a level of quality care that encourages safe and cost effective delivery of community based care services, maximizing individual autonomy, and coordination of community and the organization's resources, to decrease illness burden, and unnecessary duplication of services, thereby promoting positive outcomes.

Our Philosophy

Our philosophy of care is simple: " Compassion precedes high quality care". Our philosophy is built around the notion that sudden loss of independence and productivity are the common reasons individuals struggle with accepting care. It is our belief that the compassionate understanding of their caring needs, while respecting their dignity and privacy promote encouragement and recognition of their talents, and individuality which creates a positive caring environment.

Based on the Team's perception of the individual's Strengths, Needs, Abilities, Risk, and Functional Status obtained from Assessments.
